Grand Strand Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America |
Thank you for your interest in the MOAA Grand Strand Chapter. Membership is open to any active duty or prior (former or retired) commissioned officer or warrant officer in any US military service (Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard) or uniformed service (NOAA, Public Health Service). Whether you are currently serving, served for one or more tours, or served a full career into retirement, and were not discharged under Dishonorable conditions, you are eligible to join our Chapter and national MOAA. In addition, surviving spouses of eligible officers are eligible to join our Chapter and national MOAA.
Membership in our Chapter is on a calendar year basis - January through December - and is separate from any membership you may have in the national Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).
There are discounts available for new members who join our chapter at or beyond the mid-year point and there is a three-year membership available, to new or renewed members, at a significantly discounted rate.
Please download the Application Form below, or click on our on-line Application Form, for additional details on all Chapter membership options.
Membership renewal notices are provided to current members, whose memberships expire, after the 1st of each year.

Lastly, every year our Chapter awards scholarships to a few local high school seniors enrolled in a Junior ROTC program, to be used toward their college expenses. If desired, there is a place on the application form to enter any additional donation towards our Scholarship Fund you may wish to make. Certainly, the Chapter raises funds each year for scholarships, and additional donations are not mandatory. But the more funds we collect, the more we can give to needy and deserving future leaders of our country.

From active-duty service through retirement, MOAA can help you make the most of your career as an officer.
