2024 GRAND STRAND MOAA VETERANS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Our major fundraiser will be held at the Blackmoor Golf Club on Wed., May 29th with breakfast and registration opening at 7AM and shotgun start at 830AM.  We have moved the tournament back to May to coincide with the Myrtle Beach Military Appreciation Month.  In addition, the tournament is now dedicated to Colonel Frank Esposito who passed away recently and called every veteran his "brother or sister".  Frank and his family were longtime supporters of our golf tournament.  Proceeds collected from the golf tournament support our MOAA chapter mission:

      -  $3000 scholarships for JROTC high school graduates.

     -  Funds to support needy veterans and their families in Horry and

        Georgetown counties.

     -  Assistance to homeless veterans.

     -  Financial support for seventeen JROTC units in our geographical area.

     -  Recognition dinner, medals and gold bars for graduating ROTC cadets

        from Coastal Carolina University.
