Captain Linda S. Caldwell, USA (Fmr), President of the South Carolina Council of MOAA Chapters (SCCoC) invites you to the 2025 biennial SCCoC Conference and "Change of Command" ceremony hosted by LTC Terry Greenfield, USA (Ret) and the Star Fort Chapter, on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 845AM-3PM at Inn on the Square, 104 East Court Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646. Cost to attend the conference is $40 per person and includes lunch, snacks and beverages. In addition, the Star Fort Chapter will host a pre-conference day of camaraderie and fun on Friday, November 7, 2025 to include your choice of golf ($55/pp), tours of local museums and historical sites (free), and/or dinner ($35/pp) at the Inn on the Square.
This year's conference theme is "Building Blocks to Achieve Chapter Excellence" and will focus on activities and practices to help build and maintain a healthy and effective MOAA Chapter recognized and admired by our members, veterans, communities, state and local officials and national MOAA. To register for the conference and PAY BY CHECK, click on the SC MOAA Conference Flyer and Registration Form above, print it, fill it out and mail with a check to "Star Fort MOAA", PO Box 1501, Greenwood, SC 29648-1501. Or, to register on-line and PAY BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD, click the "Register Now" button below or the grey "Register" box to the bottom left.
To sign up for pre-conference activities on Friday, November 7th, please identify which activities you wish to attend, the name of each attendee for each event, and include any activity cost (if applicable) in your payment. If you are registering on-line you may have to register separately for each person and event. Pre-conference activities are as follows:

Tour of Ninety-Six National Historic Site Free/Donation
Greenwood Museums & Art Center Free/Donation
Buffet Dinner (630PM) @ Inn on Square $35/per person
If you are bringing a guest and your guest will attend DIFFERENT conference or pre-conference activities than you, please register your guest as a separate registration when using the on-line registration system. Further, if you or your guest(s) have any dietary restrictions, allergies or needs (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.) please identify those on your registration form or by email to LTC Terry Greenfield, USA (Ret) at tgreenfield@wctel.net
To reserve a room at the Inn on the Square, please call the Inn at 864-330-1010 and reference "MOAA Conference" to get discount rates for Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday night. Room types include 1 King Bed ($134/night), or King Bed plus a Daybed ($164/night), or King Bed suite ($184/night). Rooms are limited so early registration is highly recommended.
